How Does Creator's Minted NFT Work in Biophilia?
In the Biophilia NFT Marketplace, anyone can become an NFT Creator and set a royalty fee ranging from 0% to 10% for each NFT they mint. Here's what's new:
Custom Royalty Fee: Each NFT minted by a Creator has a royalty fee determined by the Creator. When the Creator's earnings from the royalty fee reach x10 of the total first purchase price, the individual who purchases the NFT triggering this condition will enjoy and own an additional 5% royalty fee added to the NFT.
Maximum Earnings: The purchaser who triggers the condition will have a maximum earning potential of either x50 of the total first purchase price or $200,000. This maximum earning potential is exclusive to the initial 5% royalty fee and increases for each subsequent ownership transfer.
Ownership Transfer and Increased Earning Potential: Each time the transfer of ownership is triggered for the second time up to the seventh time, the maximum earnings multiplier limit increases to x5, and the maximum amount increases to 20% of the total first purchase price. After the seventh time, the maximum earnings limit returns to the initial limit. This cyclical structure allows for ongoing excitement and opportunities for participants as they have the potential to earn higher royalties and then reset for new cycles of earnings.
Continuous Royalty Benefits: The Creator who mints the NFT will continue to receive the royalty fee they set for their NFT, ensuring ongoing earnings.
The Catch: Within the NFT Marketplace, buyers may not be aware of an NFT's proximity to reaching the maximum earnings threshold for the initial 5% royalty fee. Consequently, many individuals are motivated to become the last purchaser who fulfills the condition and triggers the ownership transfer. This creates an element of excitement and chance for buyers as they strive to seize the opportunity.
Why Is It Desirable? Biophilia's Creator's Minted NFT allows individuals to become NFT Creators and set their royalty fee. The Marketplace introduces new features like additional royalty fees, increased earnings, and continuous royalties for Creators. When the conditions are met, the last purchaser becomes the new owner of the extra royalty fee, enhancing participation and value in the Biophilia ecosystem. The cyclical nature of the maximum earnings limit for the initial 5% royalty fee keeps the excitement and earning potential alive for participants.
